Program Details

The Big Bend Rural Health Network (BBRHN) is one of nine established in the state of Florida per Section 381.0406, Florida Statutes. BBRHN is dedicated to eliminating health disparities in our minority, rural populations. We believe that collaborative partnerships are the best way to make accessible, quality health care a reality for our rural population. Our staff members are trained in chronic disease self-management, diabetes, wellness, and tobacco dependence. Through our partnership with Big Bend Area Health Education Center, we provide training for community health workers (CHWs) and rural hospital and clinic staff.
